  • 15ft 35yds
  • A standard braiding machine. This is configured to make fly line cores.
  • All Cortland braid, backing and fly line core is passed through a singeing machine.
  • This is essentially a gas burner that burns off any small trailing ends that will cause problems in the PVC coating process.
  • It is a fact that fly line core is made to higher standards than surgical stitches! So the next time you need stitches in hospital, make sure you have some Cortland backing or fly line core for them to use!
